Clear Cast Acrylic

Cast Acrylic differs from conventional acrylic due to its excellent qualities for further processing. This is a good choice if you need to reshape the sheet. It does not shatter easily, as tensions are avoided when casting.

In addition, Acrylic and cast Acrylic have the exact same properties.

Cast Acrylic has no tensions, and therefore it does not easily shatter when cutting and shaping.

Excellent clarity. Light transmission of 92%, on a par with ordinary glass

Lightweight. Acrylic only weighs about half of regular glass.

Highly weather-resistant; can be used outdoors. Does not turn yellow from exposure to sunlight

Does not shatter like glass

Easy to cut with a fine-toothed circular saw, jigsaw, or handsaw. As well as laser and water cutting.

German top quality

Clear Cast acrylic is a conventional plastic sheet that can be used indoors and outdoors.

Acrylic can be used for many purposes:

- As glass in doors/windows
- Glass for picture frames
- DIY shelving, boxes, etc.
- Aquariums
- A sheet to protect the table
- and much more...

You can easily cut or modify your own acrylic sheet. Use a circular saw, jigsaw, handsaw, or something similar with a fine-toothed blade designed for plastic.

Acrylic sheets can be glued with strong, quick-drying contact adhesive.

Acrylic has approx. the same impact strength as regular glass, i.e. it can break. If you are looking for a shatter-proof plastic sheet, you should choose Polycarbonate.

The sheet is delivered with protective film on either side.

Acrylic sheets can be shaped when exposed to heat.

Max. temperature for continuous use: 70 degrees
Max. temperature for short-term use: 90 degrees

All plastic sheets are cut with a circular saw.
